This summer will be a BASH!
BASH Summer 2025 is nine weeks of summer fun at BASH! Join us for awesome crafts, some fun in the sun, and special events like Splash-Pad Tuesday afternoons and all-day Field Trip Fridays! Ages 4-12.
Weekly Themes and Field Trips
WEEK 1: I am an astronaut!
June 16th - 20th; field trip to the Adler Planetarium
WEEK 2: I am a scientist!
June 23rd - 27th; field trip to the Field Museum
WEEK 3: I am a leader!
June 30th - July 3rd; 4th of July - no field trip on Friday
WEEK 4: I am an inventor!
July 7th - 11th; field trip to the Children’s Museum at Navy Pier
WEEK 5: I am an artist!
July 14th - 18th; field trip to the Art Institute of Chicago
WEEK 6: I am a dreamer!
July 21st - 25th; a day at the movie theaters
WEEK 7: I am an athlete!
July 28th - August 1st; field trip to a Cubs game
WEEK 8: I am an explorer!
August 4th - 8th; field trip to the beach
WEEK 9: I am a BASH Kid!
August 11th - 15th; field day at Hamilton Elementary turf
Daily Schedule
Drop off begins at 7:30am during our morning free time. Activities begin at 9am with a name game, an overview of BASH’s rules and guidelines, and a snack. Following snack is outdoor recess (weather permitting), group story time, and a craft or art project until lunch!
Our afternoons reflect the morning schedule, consisting of different games, crafts, and activities (other than Tuesdays for Splash Pad trips).
Campers are encouraged to bring their own snacks, otherwise a snack will be provided for them.
Lunches are required for full-day campers. Reminder: BASH is a peanut-free zone!
